BLUE LOCK Chapter 2 hits Free Fire MAX tomorrow: confirmed rewards, leaked prices, and whether to spend
Football fever is everywhere this week, and Garena picked the perfect moment: BLUE LOCK Chapter 2 goes live in Free Fire MAX tomorrow, 17 July. If you loved the first Blue Lock collab in November 2024, or missed it and regretted it, here is where everything stands tonight — and how to plan your diamonds.
What Garena has confirmed
The date and the headliners are official. Chapter 2 debuts Rin Itoshi (jersey no. 10) with a brand-new bundle, while the Yoichi Isagi and Seishiro Nagi bundles return from Chapter 1 for everyone who missed them the first time. Garena confirmed the 17 July start back in June. Official promo material lists the event window as 17 July to 16 August, though the original announcement gave no end date, so treat the closing date as provisional for the India server.
A set of free rewards is also confirmed for the event: a BLUE LOCK Motorbike skin, a themed Parachute, a Weapon Loot Crate, plus avatars, a banner, a photo frame and a photo sticker. Free means free: these come from playing the event missions, not the token wheel.
What the leaks claim (not confirmed yet)
Everything in this section comes from data-miner leaks and should be treated as unconfirmed until the event is live in-game.
- Token wheel pricing: leak roundups do not even agree with each other here. Spin figures floating around range from 9 to 19 diamonds, with costs rising per spin. Estimates for guaranteeing the Rin Itoshi bundle through the full pity range from roughly 2,000 to 4,500 diamonds depending on luck.
- Rin bundle extras: leaked footage points to a special elimination-aura effect, a separate hairstyle, profile icons and matching weapon skins.
Leak-based diamond figures for collabs have been wrong before, in both directions. The real wheel interface tomorrow is the only number that matters.
How many diamonds should you keep ready?
Some practical maths. If the leaked pity range is close to reality, a full Rin bundle chase is a top-up of roughly ₹1,700 to ₹3,800 at the standard rate of ₹84 per 100 diamonds. The returning Isagi and Nagi bundles usually cost less than a debut bundle, so lapsed Chapter 1 players may get a cheaper route to a Blue Lock look.
Our advice, plainly: do not spin in the first hour. Wait for the community to map the wheel odds and the exact pity number on day one, claim the free rewards first, and only then decide if the bundle is worth your stash. An event that runs a full month gives you zero reason to rush. If you need to top up, stick to the official in-game channel or known legit partners, and ignore every “cheap Blue Lock diamonds” link floating around social media this week.
One more thing about tomorrow
17 July is a stacked day. The FFWC Survival Stage broadcast starts at 3:00 PM IST with Indian teams likely fighting for Grand Final spots (see where all three teams stand after Day 1), and BLUE LOCK Chapter 2 drops in-game the same day. Keep an eye on our redeem codes page too: big event days are historically when Garena gets generous with code drops.
We will update this post with the confirmed wheel prices and the full reward list once the event is live tomorrow.
